South
Arlington United Methodist Church was built on the corner of South Arlington and Concord in
1916 in the City of Akron, Ohio. We have been on that same corner
for 93 years. We are proud to have several generations of families
worshiping with us on a regular basis.
Our
church is handicapped accessible, including an elevator to all floors
of the church. South Arlington celebrates Communion the first Sunday
of every month.
If you are not familiar with South Arlington UMC,
and your first contact with us is online, we would be pleased to hear
from you! Please let us know what your needs and questions are, we will
be more than happy to help. View Contact Form.
NOTE: If you are unable to attend our worship services and would like
a recorded copy of the service on CD, please contact us by visiting the Contact Form. Please fill out all the appropriate fields for information and we
will make sure that you have a copy of the service.
During
the year, especially in the Summer, we are honored to have special
music for our Worship Services. Some of those people presenting
special music are Blair and Wanda, who are classically trained in
voice, Joyce Elliott, who brings one of her violins or violas to play
for us - even on the hottest of days - and our own Kindred Spirit.
Joyce
Elliott has been instructing in violins and violas in the Akron area
for over 30 years. To find out more about Joyce, please visit her
website.

Wishing you God's
abundant blessings and peace.
